Assessment

ADHD is a diagnosis for life, if given in adulthood, and therefore we take giving this prognosis very seriously.

The typical process of ADHD assessment includes:

  • Talking to you directly and getting an idea of your presenting problems, how long the issues have gone on and what your strengths are.

  • Talking to a present-day and childhood informant in order to get an idea of what you are like know from someone else’s perspective and what you were like as a child.

  • Getting information from you from psychometric assessments

  • We may also look at school reports, work reports, or other psychological assessments evaluations that you can provide.

  • Interviews typically last between 2-3 hours.

We have great pride in our work and the quality of service we provide. We measure our success by how our patients feel during the assessment process and how they respond to our recommended treatment plan.
