Our Story

Why we decided to build Attention to Health

We are a group of experienced NHS professionals working in adult ADHD and therefore know first hand the difficulties facing people seeking a diagnosis or treatment for this condition.

  • These number both clinical challenges and also systemic problems that affect how the healthcare for ADHD is organised and delivered both in the NHS and in by private health services.

  • We know that many people struggle to get an ADHD assessment or psychological assessment within a reasonable time-frame and also that if treatment is started it can be hard to get this stabilised or continued in the NHS or by a GP.

  • As result we felt that we would like to offer something different for those that need to seek ADHD care outside of the NHS but whilst still offering the same high quality and ethical care.

  • As a multidisciplinary team we also liked working together and highly valued our different professions (psychiatry, general practice and clinical psychology) and skills that we could offer.

  • Please see our team details for further information on our clinicians and administrators.
